The Asian American Association was founded in 1986 as a small support group for a network of Asian-American students on campus. Since then, AAA has evolved into one of the largest pan-Asian organizations in the Midwest. To our alums, returning members, and new members: welcome!
MISSION STATEMENT
For the 2019-2020 year, the mission of the Asian American Association is to create an open atmosphere within the Asian American community that encourages the collaboration of diverse cultural backgrounds to facilitate the discussion of current issues faced by Asian Americans for the empowerment of the Asian American identity.
GET INVOLVED
AAA offers a variety of ways to get involved with the Asian American community. Throughout the year, we host events that tackle culture, social justice, sports, academics, media, and much more. Whether it be through our annual dance show hosted in the spring, philanthropy drives, new media team, or chill family study nights — we guarantee that there's a place and activity for you!
